To coincide with the UK’s first national beer day on Monday 15th June – Beer Day Britain – we are launching our brand new summer seasonal ale.
The Tap East Summer Blonde is a 4.5% pale beer brewed with Australian Summer hops, to create a light, fruity, easy drinking ale perfect for a hot sunny day.
The 15th June also happens to be the 800 year anniversary of the sealing of the Magna Carta, which contains within it a mention of “a single measure for ale” in Article 35. What better way to acknowledge the historic role of brewing and ale in the UK than spending this year’s Beer Day Britain drinking a brand new recipe brewed this summer for the first time at our 2.5 barrel plant?
The Summer Blonde will be available on cask at Tap East for the first time from 6:00pm on Monday 15th June. Let’s hope the sun is shining!
