New beers 25/10

Another weekend descends upon us and the when the clock strikes beer o’clock strikes on friday we have you covered. Heres a tantalizing taste of what’s in:

Kasteel Hoppy 6.5%- A nice little beer to start us off. This beer pours golden with aromas of fruit and spiciness. A warming spiciness on the palate and a citrus finish make this perfect for a friday night starter.

Anchor Bigleaf Maple Autumn Red 6%- Another blinder from Anchor Brewery. This copper coloured ale is perfect for the autumn and goes down a little too easy. A nose of pine and citrus from the Citra and Nelson Sauvin Hops with a slight sweetness on the palate that move to bitterness on the finish.

Sly Fox Black Raspberry Reserve 8%- Something a bit fruity here, a wheat ale brewed with red and black raspberries. Aromas of raspberry sorbet and slight sweetness. The raspberry tartness on the tongue leaves you pining for another sip. Drink this with a chocolate brownie for our match of the weekend.

Orkney Dark Island Reserve 10%- For something really special this weekend why not try a bottle of this stunning whiskey barrel aged beer. Aged for 3 months in Orkney malt whiskey barrels the nose is dark fruits and slightly peaty. It slips down the throat with flavours of dark chocolate, molasses and vanilla. Simply amazing for a special occasion this weekend.

Also returning this week we have:
