Another date for your diary, it’s a book launch from the Brewery History Journal on Sunday 27th March. Here are the details
The latest issue of the Brewery History journal is dedicated to the most significant writer on beer there has been, Michael Jackson. With an introduction by the winner of the first Michael Jackson Gold Tankard for Beer Writer of the Year, Pete Brown, it contains nine articles by some of the most renowned commentators on beer today. From both sides of the Atlantic the contributors, which also include a film maker and brewer, provide an informative, sometimes moving and often funny insight into the importance of Michael Jackson’s life and work. The issue will be launched at 6pm at The Rake, Borough Market, SE1 9AG on 27 March 2011 on what would have been Michael’s 69th birthday. A number of the authors will be there, including Pete Brown and Mark Dredge, and copies will be available to purchase.
Copies will be £4.50 to all customers and we hope to see you here to support this event!
There’s also a possible Brewdog Launch on Thursday 31st March, watch this space for confirmation and details!
