Come and celebrate 1000 years of markets in Southwark with the launch of the Borough Bitter!
On Thursday the 20th of November at 7pm, we’ll be launching Borough Barrow Bitter, made with hops grown in Borough Market and skilfully crafted by the fine folks at Tap East for Borough Market’s 1000th(ish) birthday.
Proud to be part of the market, we at The Rake are pretty excited for this – we get to celebrate with Borough Market and drink great beer, so for us it ticks all the boxes! If you love visiting the market and you have a love of beer, this is surely right up your street as well, so make sure you come and join us in wishing Borough Market a happy 1000th!
For more information regarding the beer, pop on over to the Borough Market site, using the handy link here http://boroughmarket.org.uk/name-the-borough-bitter/

See you Thursday, folks.
